The Dominican Republic is one of the most affordable destinations for weddings, but it all comes down to your preferences.

9. What are the legal requirements for getting married in the Dominican Republic?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions about the Dominican Republic.
The civil wedding is officiated in Spanish by a Dominican judge provided by the Government. You must be in the country at least 3 business days before getting married.
Below is a list of documents necessary for a civil/legal wedding in the Dominican Republic.
All documents must be translated in Spanish and legalized by the Dominican Consulate in your country prior to arriving in the Dominican Republic, except for the Passports. The documents should be legalized by the Dominican Consulate no more than 3 months prior to the wedding date. It is the couple’s responsibility to have all the documentation ready prior the wedding.
- Valid passport and a copy of passport of Bride and Groom.
- Original Birth Certificate of Bride and Groom.
- Notarized Single Status Affidavit for Bride and Groom.
- If you have been previously married, a copy of legalized/sealed Divorce Act or Death Certificate.
*there is a mandatory 10 months waiting period for women, after divorce to be able re-marry. - Passport photocopies of the witnesses.
Your marriage certificate will be sent to you in Spanish, you will then need to have it translated and legalized into English.
No paperwork is required for a symbolic wedding. You can bring your own officiant or minister or hire one locally.
10. Do you take care of accommodation for groups?
Yes, especially for the area of Punta Cana.
There are many private villas, apartments and boutique hotels that we can recommend that offer accommodation for groups.
We can also help organize tours, excursions, fun activities and trips for your group such as: fishing, snorkeling, sailing, diving, horseback riding, catamaran party boats, trips to Santo Domingo, Isla Saona and other parts of the DR.
11. Do you work with same-sex couples?
We do. Love is love and we’d love to be considered for planning your special day anywhere in the Dominican Republic.

Yes, we are all for it!
In fact, many local and international planners and companies collaborate with us for our talent services, event equipment, party rentals and dance shows.
We have done some amazing work together.
It all comes down to the venue you have booked. This applies even more if your event/wedding is at a resort – we advise asking them if they will charge you an outside vendor fee for our services.
16. What type of event equipment do you rent?
Being one of the few companies in Punta Cana that rent professional sound, lighting and DJ equipment for events, we also team up with local vendors and rent chairs, tables, decoration items, floral centerpieces, lounge furniture, dance floors, tents, etc.
17. What kind of dance classes do you teach?
If you want to learn some basic steps while in Punta Cana or you have experience dancing and want to improve/learn new moves – we got you!
Samba, rumba, cha cha, bachata, salsa, merengue, hip hop or zumba – it’s up to you to choose the dance style you want to do on the classes.
At the moment, we offer only private lessons for individuals, couples and groups.
