It’s a story of one couple we had the pleasure to work with. The entertainment package they chose for their wedding simply blew everyone away.
We first got in touch with Andres and Whitney back in January 2019, when we got a call from Precious Nuptials located in Texas, USA. She was interested in creating a unique entertainment package for her clients wedding planned to take place on May 4, 2019 in a private villa in Puntacana Resort.
After looking at some videos and photos of our entertainment options and exchanging ideas, Andres and Whitney made their decision.
They decided to book our international live music band for reception, violin solo musician for ceremony, our DJ and MC as well as the crazy hour hora loca dance show.
To be honest, they couldn’t have made a better choice.
Our package for them also included sound system and ambient lighting for both ceremony and reception.
Our team of technicians did all the setup and sound checks in the afternoon of May 4th. The wedding ceremony began some time after 4pm in the beautiful garden of the villa.
Our violin player has prepared songs of the bride and groom’s choice that she played as everyone arrived for the ceremony.
For the entrance of the bride, she played the couple’s special song.
The bride looked absolutely stunning and that little bit of rain that started as she was walking down the aisle only added to the perfect moment.
After ceremony and a delicious dinner, our DJ was ready to get the party started.
Playing mostly retro, pop and latin music (as the bridal couple wanted) our DJ got everyone warmed up for the band.
With a repertoire that included the best of modern pop, the inevitable latin salsa and bachata music spiced up with just a bit of latin rock, the band made sure all 50 guests had a terrific time.
As the band took their break, it was time for the highlight of the night: the surprise hora loca performance!
Our 4 dancers and 1 zanquero showed up out of nowhere (well, actually we greeted them and hid them in a room so no one knew they are there until it was show time).
With the catchy mix of Carnaval music, samba, salsa and electronic music, the hora loca dance show made everyone go CRAZY!!!
Our DIDEA team was so glad to see everyone having the time of their lives, enjoying every minute of the wedding celebration.
The party finished with pouring rain and many guests, including the groom jumping into the pool.
We had so much fun at this amazing wedding and we are super thankful to Andres and Whitney for choosing us to take care of their entertainment.
